Program Description: Employment Institute
The Employment Institute Auberles nationally recognized workforce development program places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career jobs not just training. Our passionate missiondriven team supports individuals in overcoming any barrier to employment impacting our participants their families and future generations. Because of our holistic model 84 of our participants remain in their employment for six months or more a longterm indicator of success in the workplace.
Position Title and Overview: Employment Institute Manager
1. Assist in the recruitment of participants and develop aggressive success measures that focus on participants gaining and keeping careerlevel jobs in high priority occupations.
2. Assist in the oversight and execute on expected contract goals which includes completion of Nationally Recognized Certifications job placement and retention outcomes.
3. Motivate delegate tasks and supervise case managers with positive reinforcement and help them create innovative solutions for enrollees to succeed.
4. Use strong communication skills to establish and manage relationships both inside and outside of the agency working with businesses and other agencies.
5. Work with the Deputy Director and Director of the Employment Institute to manage and grow the program according to business and regional economic needs.
Location and Travel Requirements:
This position is primarily located in McKeesport. All positions are also expected to come to training meetings and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport as scheduled. The travel required for this position is frequent.
Position Requirements:
Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances
Bachelors degree preferred but related experience accepted
Valid PA drivers license vehicle and proof of insurance
Flexibility to work evenings for weekends
