Job Description
ELEMENTARY (Jr.Kindergarten to 4 AND HIGH SCHOOL 912 Grade) ART TEACHER MAY INCLUDE SOME MULTIMEDIA TEACHER
NCA is a Christian School serving grades Jr.K12. All qualifying candidates must support the mission statement: New Covenant Academy is a Christian school committed to Academic Excellence Biblical Truth and Christlike character.
New Covenant Academy is seeking qualified candidates for a fulltime ELEMENTARY (Jr.K4 and High School 912 Grade)Teacher. This may also include some High School multimedia(employment agreement renewable annually pending board approval) beginning August 2025. The individual will work at New Covenant Academys Warrior Campus located at 3304 S. Cox Rd. Springfield MO. and Grace Campus at 3801 S. Kansas Ave. Springfield MO 1 time a week for approx. 1.5 hours).
JOB SUMMARY:
The role of the teacher is to engage and inspire students to learn the subject matter and impart skills and attitudes that will positively contribute to their development as mature able and responsible Christian men and women. The teacher will integrate Biblical principles throughout the curriculum plan and implement a course of study to meet the individual needs of students prepare and submit lesson plans and assess student progress while demonstrating their own mastery of the subject matter taught. The teacher must also communicate and collaborate effectively with parents students administration and faculty for the success of each student. TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates must have a valid Missouri (or from another state within the U.S. Teaching Certificate and hold an appropriate endorsement in the areas of instruction with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in the area of teaching. Furthermore candidates must have a Christian testimony reflected in a daily walk that exemplifies the Christian faith and must demonstrate evidence of regeneration and dedication to the cause of Christ and have an expressed desire (call) to work in a Christian school.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION:
The salary base for this position with the required minimum educationfor a firstyear teacher with certification is $38037 and increases in stepped increments based on education and years of experience. The school pays for a majority of the employees medical premiums. Optional insurance plans are available at the employees expense. 50 tuition remission for your own qualified children to attend New Covenant Academy.

Have a Christian testimony reflected in a daily walk that allows being a true example to all students.
Implement their jobs as unto the Lord: Whatever you do work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord not men.
Be active in a local body of believers and should be faithful in reading Gods Word and daily prayer.
Agree fully and without reservation with the schools Statement of Faith.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision the ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision. The employee is frequently required to walk stand sit possibly run stretch use hands for fine manipulation handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel or crouch. The employee must have the ability to demonstrate the proper techniques and skills needed for athletic participation. Other physical activities may be required related to the physical ability to perform
