SUMMARY
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to level up your career GameStop is hiring an Instock Planner to join our supply chain organization and help us build a worldclass customer experience. The InStock Planner will be a key contributor in defining new processes driving crossfunctional relationships and improving vendor performance. You will work closely with Merchandise Planners and Merchants to execute our product purchasing and build tactical relationships with vendors around the world.
Instock Planners are responsible for taking our demand forecast and turning it into purchases to bring inventory into our fulfillment centers and stores. You will track incoming purchase orders across both domestic and international (import) supply chains helping us ensure we get our product in time in into the right places.
Location:Grapevine TX Office (Inoffice 5 days a week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Own endtoend planning and management of inventory from SKU forecast creation to PO ending with delivery into our network.
- Work collaboratively with vendor partners to improve their performance with the intent to maximize joint operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability and ownership over assigned categories.
- Work collaboratively with others to achieve GameStop goals simplify processes reduce costs and delight our customers.
Basic and Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business engineering finance statistics supply chain operations mathematics or related field.
- 13 years experience in supply chain retail store operations or eCommerce operations.
- 13 years experience in instock management with a focus on supply planning or demand planning.
- 13 years experience working with vendors on operational and performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills working with raw data to identify insights and take decisive action.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to make business decisions with incomplete information or within an ambiguous/evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook and PowerBI required.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills preferred.
