Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Certified Internal Auditor is a plus
- With at least 10 years of audit experience preferably from education
- Familiarity in higher education regulations accreditation requirements and compliance standards
- Experience in fraud detection risk assessment and financial analysis
- Internal control frameworks and knowledge in auditing standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Head the conduct of assurance and consulting activities that add value and improve operations.
- Lead the monitoring assessment and analysis of organizational risks and controls.
- Review and confirm information and check compliance with policies procedures and laws.
- Collaborate with the management in providing assurance that risks are mitigated and that corporate governance is strong and effective.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing processes policies and procedures.
- Oversee the auditing information systems and controls embedded within technology operations and systems to support school processes and goals.
- Investigate reports of theft or misappropriation of school assets.
