Job Description
Our Outside School Hours Care service Clover Hill State School Helping Hands is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primaryage children.
This is a permanent fulltime opportunity offering 2830 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You will work across split shifts to support the services operating hours of Monday Friday 6:00am 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up block shifts during the school holidays too!
About the role
Leading a team of Educators you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 512 years. Youll have the support of a state specific office plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging childcentered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management
- Manage the daytoday operations of your service including compliance and administration
Who are we looking for
We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it! and a state check for working with children
- Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA

Qualifications :
Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
