Associate: Bike Rental Technician: PartTime Seasonal
Vail Resorts Retail (VRR)

Rental Techniciansare responsible for generating sales though worldclass guest service. Assist customers with bike rental equipment. Adjust bikes to fit needs and size of guest. Reccommend products to improve rental experience.
Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Serves customers by establishing rapport building customer confidence providing accurate information and promoting product through point of successful sale
- Establish professional yet personalized rapport with customer upon contact; by phone or in person
- Answer all questions providing detailed information and establishing trust with the customer to close of sale
- Describing and promoting product in line with customers express needs as well as promoting purchase of related products
- Stocks shelves counters or tables with merchandise
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Promote extended warranty/maintenance agreements parts and accessories purchase
Qualifications:
- Previous retail sales experience required
- Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the bike industry
- Familiarity with mountain biking
- Ability to communicate fluently with coworkers and guests in accurate spoken and written Englishrequired
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Basic computer skillsrequired
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights holidays and weekendsrequired
Vail Resorts retail and rental operations are conducted through Specialty Sports Venture (SSV) a majority owned subsidiary. SSV operates over 180yearround and seasonal stores under 40 retail brand names specializing in ski bike golf and fly fishing products and gear.
