Job Title: SEC Reporting Manager
Location:Bensalem PA
Job Type:FullTime Hybrid 3 Office Days/Week)
Reports To: Assistant Controller
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of SEC Reporting Manager to join our growing corporate team in Bensalem PA!
HCSGs Accounting & Finance department is looking to add a new member to our team in Bensalem PA. The SEC Reporting Manager is a hybrid role that will report to the Assistant Controller. Youll be responsible for managing the preparation of the Companys consolidated SEC financial statements as well as reviewing journal entries reconciliations and analysis for assigned accounts. The ideal candidate is diligent detailoriented and has experience working in a fastpaced public company environment.
Position Summary
- Prepare and file SEC reports including 10Qs 10Ks proxy statements and other required or adhoc filings.
- Oversee financial statement data collection consolidation and XBRL updates ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct research on new SEC regulations GAAP updates and other technical accounting matters; present key findings to accounting leadership.
- Manage the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned areas ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls ensuring all area specific controls are performed and documented.
- Coordinate audit processes including compiling audit documentation responding to auditor sample requests and ensuring proper internal control documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting is required
- 5 years of experience in public accounting or within a SEC or financial reporting department
- CPA license highly preferred or a willingness to pursue CPA certification is required
- Prior experience or familiarity with SEC filings is ideal
- Experience with WDesk/Workiva is a plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
