Summary of Position
The SCSI SE Seattle Resource Navigation Manager leads a team dedicated to connecting youth and young adults (ages 1230 impacted by systemic violence to traumainformed wraparound services. Reporting to the SCSI SE Seattle Safe Passages Director this role ensures highimpact service delivery through Community Safety Hubs direct resource navigation and crisis intervention efforts. The position supervises Resource Navigators ensuring alignment with the Seattle Community Safety Initiative (SCSI) and Community Passageways mission of restorative justice youth intervention and violence prevention.

Strategic & Collaborative Leadership
- Lead the daily operations of Resource Navigation in alignment with violence prevention and youth intervention strategies.
- Oversee case management at the SE Seattle Hub network ensuring this location serves as a key gathering space for participants in need of case management crisis intervention and wraparound services.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with funders public agencies schools and communitybased organizations to ensure coordinated support for youth and families.
- Serve as a liaison between Community Passageways law enforcement alternatives and communitybased partners to support deescalation efforts and crisis interventions.
- Support the Critical Incident Response Team in managing postcritical incident response including financial assistance vigils funeral support and housing relocation for impacted families.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise mentor and develop Resource Navigators
- Implement training and professional development for staff in restorative justice traumainformed care deescalation techniques and motivational interviewing.
- Establish performance benchmarks for staff and track progress toward programmatic goals.
- Conduct weekly team meetings and oneonone supervisions with Resource Navigators
- Coordinate staffing plans and manage program leaves or vacation requests to ensure appropriate coverage
- Work with HR to oversee hiring onboarding evaluations and coaching for Resource Navigation team members.
- Promote selfcare and burnout prevention across the team.
- Oversee case management services to ensure youth and families receive:
- Education & Housing Support: GED completion high school reengagement postsecondary pathways transitional and permanent housing landlord advocacy.
- Employment & Financial Literacy: Job placement skills training financial assistance.
- Mental & Behavioral Health Support: Therapy psychiatric care substance use counseling.
- Legal & Advocacy Services: Court support defense coordination eviction prevention.
- Crisis Intervention & Violence Interruption: Realtime support for families affected by gun violence retaliation prevention and conflict mediation.
- Support Safe Passages programming ensuring youth avoid unnecessary law enforcement contact and have access to communitybased alternatives.
- Support community hotspot remediation efforts including popup interventions deescalation events and prosocial engagement.
- Track and report on key performance indicators such as:
- Number of atrisk individuals engaged in case management.
- Number of participants with structured goal plans.
- Percentage of participants completing at least one lifeimproving milestone (education housing employment etc..
- Community intervention events hosted annually.
Fiscal & Program Compliance
- Ensure program alignment with funding guidelines contract deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all organizational and legal guidelines.
Requirements
Requirement:
- A clear criminal background check is required for all positions working within our school district or working directly with youth/minors.
Preferred Experience or Skills:
- At least 1 year of Supervisor experience
- Experience working with youth
- Experience with deescalation mediation and harmreduction
- Experience and/or expertise in the area of violence prevention and intervention or traumainformed support services among highrisk populations is required.
- Lived experience of the impact of gun violence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge for Microsoft 365
- Reliable Transportation
