About the Role
As an OnSite Events Specialist & Technician youll be the face of PheedLoop at onsite events across North America ensuring our clients experiences with our technology and hardware are flawless from start to finish. Youll travel regularly to conferences trade shows and corporate events where youll be responsible for setting up and managing our onsite technology (think printers iPads and checkin kiosks) and providing handson support during live events.

Youll be our customers goto person on the ground helping them troubleshoot technical issues answering questions about the PheedLoop platform and escalating back to HQ if/when necessary and making sure everything runs like clockwork. The role is handson fastpaced and requires someone who can handle highpressure situations with grace and professionalism.


Your day to day

  • Travel to events across North America setting up and managing onsite equipment such as printers tablets and selfcheckin kiosks.
  • Provide technical support to clients during events ensuring the seamless operation of our integrated event platform (including Event Apps Lead Retrieval etc..
  • Troubleshoot and resolve onthespot technical issues to keep events running smoothly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event organizers answering any questions they have about our software and hardware in real time.
  • Ensure the setup and breakdown of equipment runs efficiently and on time especially under tight event schedules.
  • Work closely with the logistics team for training and escalation while onsite


Things you should know and have to succeed

  • Experience: Ideally 6 months1 year in a customer service tech support or logistics related role. Experience with technology or events is a plus!
  • Strong communication skills: You must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and facetoface with clients and colleagues under pressure.
  • Adaptability: The ability to stay calm solve problems quickly and think on your feet in highpressure situations.
  • Work ethic: A strong sense of responsibility attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid passport: Since this is a travelheavy role a valid passport and the ability to travel freely across North America are a must.
  • Techsavviness: A general understanding of technology and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly. You dont need to be a developer but you should be comfortable with devices like printers iPads and event tech.


Things that would make you an allstar

  • Experience in the events industry managing conferences trade shows or similar events
  • Experience selling software products
  • Experience working in small business environments
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and French)
