Job Description
Bemana is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician to join our clients team in the San Francisco Bay area. This role involves the safe and efficient installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers. The technician will work independently and with a crew managing routine to complex tasks recording data and preparing field service reports.

Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to inspect test troubleshoot perform startup and collect data on electrical systems.
- Observe testing assign work on projects to capable technicians ensure testing of similar items is consistent across test technicians.
- Track project scope completion and communicate with customer management.
- Maintain test repair rebuild and replace low medium and highvoltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
- Troubleshoot automatic transfer switches.
- Test and inspect low medium and highvoltage cable installations.
- Maintain test and repair transformers and related equipment.
- Startup troubleshoot and repair generator controls and transfer schemes.
- Sample and interpret insulated fluids.
- Document test results and complete field reports.
- Maintain strict compliance with regulatory laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical testing.
- Experience working with a team on projects.
- Familiarity with NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Standards.
- Knowledge of NFPA70E Electrical Safety standards.
- Ability to travel regionally 100.
- Knowledgeable in lockout/tagout and hazardous energy control procedures.
- Clean Driving Record and DrugFree.
- Current NETA Level 2 Certification Preferred.
