Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated Hiring Assistant to join our network of caring professionals at our Easton MD location. At Comfort Keepers we provide uplifting inhome care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand a supportive companion and daytoday assistance in their homes. The Hiring Assistant is responsible for ensuring that Comfort Keepers is fully staffed with caregiving professionals. Utilizing their organizational skills strong communication and interpersonal relationships the Hiring Assistant will help Comfort Keepers deliver on our commitment to provide oneonone care that enhances the quality of life of our clients and their families. This is an entrylevel position

Job Summary:

  • A hiring Assistant plans and executes ongoing and continuous recruiting plans to ensure that the hiring needs are met and exceeded.
  • This Hiring Assistant is teamoriented with excellent communication skills and takes pride in resultsdriven outcomes while providing extraordinary customer service.
  • A successful Hiring Assistant does not depend on a talent pipeline to fill the needs of the business but will be actively involved in attracting screening and hiring candidates at Comfort Keepers.
  • This includes strong community involvement ties such as scheduling and participating in career fairs building relationships with local training schools and identifying the best community sources for attracting caregiver talent. Will also work with the office staff to coordinate and guide the new hires through the onboarding process. This may include assisting with orientation followup with new employees to assess their progress and other duties as assigned.
  • A Comfort Keepers Hiring Assistant understands the company mission of elevating the human spirit and strives to recruit and attract candidates who emulate that philosophy.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 years of recruitmentrelated experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of managementrelated experience.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and written/verbal communication.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills with people from diverse and varied backgrounds and education levels.
  • Strongcomputer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid drivers license with the ability to pass a background check (including motor vehicle records check).
  • Previous experience in the homecare industry would be a plus.
  • Office staff is required to participate in an oncall rotation.
