Minimum Qualifications
M.A. M.Ed. or M.A.T. in English as a Second Language ESL Teaching English as a Second Language TESL or Teaching to Speakers of Other Languages TESOL OR M.A. in Applied English Linguistics M.A. in Second Language Acquisition SLA or Second Language Teaching SLT with emphasis on and significant coursework in English language acquisition OR M.A. in Education M.A. in Adult Education and TESOL Certification. NOTE : All degrees listed must have been granted by an approved accredited college or university. Demonstrated evidence of inclusive equity and diversityminded teaching practices Demonstrated evidence of participation in professional development activities relevant to the programs goals Professional experience teaching English to speakers of other languages Experience with testing assessment and evaluation of student learning Experience with the use of computers and technology in teaching ESL Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English At least 35 years of recent experience teaching in an intensive English or academic English program for adult students at an accredited institution of higher learning in the US or abroad. Demonstrated successful experience being an effective collaborator across /within institutional units.
Work Schedule
MondayFriday 8am5pm may require some evenings & weekends as needed
