• FLDOHGainesvilleCNA Candidates will need to attend a complete two week orientation working Monday Friday 8 am 4:30 pm
• WORK ENVIRONMENT: The North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center (NFETC) is a maximumsecurity allmale forensic mental health facility in Gainesville Florida. It has a current capacity of 193 residents.
• TYPE OF PATIENTS: The average age of our residents is in their early 30s. The goal is to get those committed as Incompetent to Proceed to Trial 78 back to their committing courts for disposition of their charges and those engaged as Not Guilty because of Insanity 22 to a less restrictive environment.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with all aspects of resident care as assigned by the nurse/shift supervisor including activities of daily living ambulation mobility and nutrition.
• Observe identify and report resident concerns or needs to the shift supervisor.
• Document information factually and objectively within the acceptable time frame as defined by facility policy.
• Provide safe and supportive observation and effectively monitor assigned residents.
• Complete assignments in a timely accurate and cooperative manner.
• Provide the necessary assistance when providing residents with the following activities of daily living nursing care: oral hygiene bathing dressing grooming hair and nail care shaving toileting eating and drinking and mobility.
• Assist with monitoring and accountability of residents to enable medical personnel to accomplish healthrelated tasks.
• Display professionalism throughout employment including arriving to work on time maintaining an accurate timesheet and maintaining professional appearance as defined by facility policy.
