Job Description

Profile for sales representative

As a Sales Representative in the Electrical FRP/GRP Manufacturing industry your primary role will be to drive sales and contribute to the growth of the company's electrical FRP/GRP product line.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients identifying new business opportunities and meeting sales targets within the electrical FRP/GRP manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

Product handling –

Cable trays/Lighting pole/Enclosures/Safety ladders/Cable supports/Junction Box/Feeder pillars/Distributions boards/Conduits/Trefoil clamps/Gratings/Handrails etc.

  • Prospect identify and target potential customers within the electrical FRP/GRP manufacturing industry.
  • Generate leads through market research cold calling networking and other sales techniques.
  • Approach project management consultants (PMC) like AECOM/WORLEY PARSONS/TATA CONSULTING ENGINEERS/WAPCOS/DFCC/TWIC/ENGINEERS INDIA LTD/MOTTMAC etc. to get FRP specs enlistment in their running and upcoming projects.
  • Present and promote the company's electrical FRP/GRP products and services to existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver persuasive virtual sales presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts pricing and terms of sale ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients understanding their needs and requirements.
  • Provide timely and responsive customer support addressing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their challenges and offer customized solutions using electrical FRP/GRP products.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling crossselling and expanding product offerings within existing client accounts.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay updated on industry trends market conditions and competitor activities within the electrical FRP/GRP manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market segments customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials campaigns and sales collateral.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports forecasts and performance analysis for management review.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the market to contribute to product development and improvement.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales and business development preferably in the electrical FRP/GRP manufacturing industry or a related field.

Strong understanding of electrical FRP/GRP products applications and market dynamics.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Selfmotivated and targetdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.

Knowledge of market research and analysis techniques to identify customer needs and market trends.

Ability to work independently and remotely managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a related field (preferred).
