Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Bakersfield California
Salary: $34.00 $39.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM Evening Shift
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Bakersfield CA. This mobile Xray role provides autonomy variety and flexibility while supporting patients across skilled nursing home health and other care facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile Xray exams using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment
- Ensure diagnosticquality images are submitted to Radiologists for interpretation
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to Cardiologists
- Safely transport and operate imaging equipment in various care settings
- Maintain daily documentation and scan all paperwork and billing records per protocol
- Communicate effectively with dispatch supervisors and facility staff
- Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment according to safety and company standards
- Participate in oncall rotations and provide weekend coverage based on caseload
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification required
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and transport portable imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Mobile imaging experience preferred but not required
