Job Description
Job Title: XRay Technologist
Location: Blaine Minnesota
Salary: $19.07 $27.44 per hour (based on experience; unionized position)
Shift: Varied Days/Evenings 12Hour Shifts 48 Hours Per 2Week Pay Period Every Weekend Required No OnCall
Job Overview:
We are seeking a permanent XRay Technologist to join a reputable healthcare team in Blaine MN. This unionized role offers a consistent schedule of 12hour shifts with weekend coverage totaling 48 hours every two weeks. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging for a wide patient population while also assisting with allergy injections rooming patients and maintaining radiology equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic exams on infants adolescents adults and geriatric patients
- Properly set up and operate radiology equipment in alignment with safety and quality standards
- Assist with allergy injections and support patient rooming processes
- Maintain accurate xray files and documentation
- Conduct equipment maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs
- Collaborate with customer care teams and support clinical workflow
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet department goals
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure (if applicable in Minnesota)
- Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Willingness to work every weekend and varied shifts
