Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity for career growth and development within our agency. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting plumbing electrical and carpentry work.
• Inspect buildings and facilities regularly to identify and address issues requiring repair or upkeep.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or building management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas such as hallways elevators and restrooms.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems (HVAC plumbing electrical) and report malfunctions or required repairs.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment and request replacements as needed.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment or furniture for meetings and events.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance work.
• Communicate effectively with building tenants and management to resolve maintenance concerns or requests.
• Collaborate with fellow maintenance workers and contractors on larger projects and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Building Service Worker Certificate from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge and handson experience with basic maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical and carpentry.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Strong problemsolving troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Physical capacity to lift and carry heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends when necessary.
