Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Senior Electrical Engineer on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 24.40 31.88 per Hour

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects ensuring compliance with regulations and overseeing the replacement and refurbishment of electrical systems across largescale housing estates. This role requires strong analytical project management and leadership skills to drive innovation and deliver costeffective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering replacement and refurbishment projects.
  • Administer contracts for major electrical engineering works ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Negotiate and manage highvalue electrical term contracts.
  • Oversee asset management and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Prepare technical specifications tender documents and procurement strategies.
  • Lead project teams ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent or extensive relevant experience.

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering within largescale housing estates.
  • Experience in contract administration highvalue negotiations and budget management.
  • Knowledge of asset management health and safety regulations and effective contract management.
  • Ability to assess complex situations and implement solutions within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
