Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Lawton Oklahoma
Salary: $24.50 $27.56 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 8Hour Days) No Weekends No OnCall
Job Overview:
We are seeking Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for outpatient roles in Lawton OK. This is a great opportunity to support patients across all age groups under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in delivering personalized therapy treatments while ensuring a safe clean and organized therapy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises based on approved treatment plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all therapy sessions
- Accurately document daily therapy notes and discharge summaries
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy department environment
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan including infants children adolescents adults and the elderly
- Operate within the scope and limitations of a licensed PTA
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication documentation and organizational skills
