Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Lawton Oklahoma
Salary: $27.50 $30.94 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
SignOn Bonus: $6000
Job Description:
We are seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist for a permanent fulltime role in Lawton OK. This position offers a $6000 signon bonus and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment under the supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor. The technologist will assist physicians in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensure quality imaging for adult pediatric and neonatal patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce quality images for medical interpretation
- Correlate patient history and clinical data to facilitate optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Participate in agespecific care and interaction across all patient populations
- Maintain and operate ultrasound lab equipment ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Document and record statistical and patient information using the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Provide basic patient care and comfort during procedures
- Participate in quality assurance programs
- Maintain professional judgment and discretion in all interactions and procedures
- Be available for rotating oncall responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
- Registered or registryeligible through ARDMS or equivalent
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Proficient in performing general ultrasound exams across patient age groups
- Strong attention to detail communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM with oncall rotation
