About the Role
As a Senior Accountant / Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in the success of the team and the firm by:
- Providing team guidance and offering expert technical advice.
- Collaborating with Senior Management to enhance operational efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Delegate and review less experienced team members work.
- Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for:
- Individuals
- Sole traders
- Partnerships
- Companies
- Trusts
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm.
- Strong team member management skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable for their performance
- At least 2 years as a manager or team leader.
- Proven track record in workflow management and meeting client deadlines.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience serving a wide range of clients and industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software particularly Xero.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
