We are currently seeking interns for our 2025 Summer Internship Program. As a summer intern you will gain intensive real world handson jobsite experience directly from seasoned construction professionals at Austins multimilliondollar heavy civil construction projects.
This is a paid 12 weeks fulltime internship program that will start on Monday May 19 2025 and run through Friday August 8 2025. Our interns will report to their assigned project located in the North Texas area. Our interns will also participate in various social and volunteer events with fellow employeeowners and have the great opportunity to visit an active project site. As an employeeowner hired for an internship you will be given the title of Project Intern and your duties could consist of:
Requirements:
Our interns are assigned a supervisor who is a professional with both expertise and educational background in the field. Interns can expect a preliminary meeting with their supervisor to discuss the goals expectations and desired outcomes of the internship. Employeeowners participating in an internship will be reviewed upon the completion of their internship. This review should be used as a tool to communicate the successes and learning outcomes of the internship. The supervisor will also complete any necessary paperwork that must be provided to the interns school or university.
Individuals hired as interns will be classified as Temporary employeeowners as defined in Policy A5. Temporary employeeowners are not eligible for vacation pay holiday pay or any of the other benefits listed in Policy A5.
Temporary employeeowners are expected to adhere to the same policies and procedures as regular fulltime employeeowners.
Employeeowners that are performing an internship are expected to work a regularlyscheduled workweek of 40 hours or more (overtime will be paid for any hours in excess of 40 at a rate one and onehalf times the employeeowners regular rate).
