A member of the Event Security Team reports directly to the Director of Security and Security Manager. The position is to assure the wellbeing and safety of employees tenants and patrons at the CFG Bank Arena. The Event Security team is a vital component of the Arena in assuring safety and a positive guest service experience a positive attitude and a positive appearance are essential.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $22.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
• Possess a positive attitude and facilitate teamwork and respect among coworkers.
• Welcome guests provide directions and answer any questions that may arise.
• Monitor patrol secure areas of the arena and check/monitor credentials.
• Provide assistance to guests with special needs or wheelchair access.
• Resolve guest complaints quickly and exceed the guests expectations.
• Enforce building policies and event procedures.
• Maintain order and ensure crowd safety.
• Assist and direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies.
• Perform wanding of patrons and monitor entry of patrons through metal detectors.
• Communicate efficiently and clearly with coworkers/supervisors.
• Follow all incident procedure protocols and documentation when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• To perform this job successfully an individual must possess the ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Work flexible shifts including mornings nights overnights weekends and holidays depending on event schedule.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends nights and holidays required.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting personal schedules and extending hours to meet event staffing needs including securing reliable transportation to and from the arena during nontraditional business hours.
• Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises.

• Fluctuating temperatures to include hot and cold conditions external and internal facility exposure
• Exposure to flashing lights

• Frequent bending standing for long periods of time extensive walking through the building.
• Arrive at work in appropriate furnished uniform refrain from cellphone use in public spaces while on post and remaining on post until dismissed or relieved.
