Job Description

Our Client a premier intellectual property law firm in Washington DC is in search of an experienced associate patent attorney to become an integral part of its dynamic biology biotechnology and chemical patent litigation team. The selected candidate will have the chance to engage in a broad spectrum of patent litigation activities across the biology biotechnology chemical and pharmaceutical sectors serving a diverse array of quality domestic and international clients.

The successful applicant will have an advanced degree in biology molecular biology biochemistry organic chemistry pharmacology or a closely related discipline.

Qualifications:

  • 36 years in pharmaceutical chemical or biotech litigation PTAB and/or related patent experience is essential.
  • Registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office being highly desirable.
  • Exceptional academic records strong analytical capabilities outstanding written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively on a team are mandatory.
