Job Description

A wellregarded Coeducational Comprehensive School in the Ealing area seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for a fulltime permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will be passionate about mathematics and committed to fostering a love of the subject in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 ensuring strong progress and achievement for all learners.

The Mathematics department is a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to ensuring all students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and skills.
  • About the Role:
    • Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 following the national curriculum and school schemes of work.
    • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities utilizing a variety of teaching resources and strategies.
    • Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
    • Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives.
    • Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment within the mathematics classroom.
  • Ideal Candidate:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
    • A good understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the abilityto build positive relationships with students.
    • A passion for making mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all learners.
