Our clients Environmental and Natural Resourcesgroup assists clients on all major and emerging environmental laws at the federal state and local levels.Theypractice in the fields of climate change law coastal development and protection while representing various clients in industries including oil refining and distribution manufacturing and renewable energy.They received National Tier 1 Rankings in Environmental Lawin the edition ofBest Lawyers 2023.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The firms Environmental and Natural ResourcesPractice Group is seeking a seniorlevel associate 710 years of experience)to join their Californiaoffices (Century City Los Angeles Orange County SanDiego San Francisco). This is an exciting opportunity for an Attorney looking to join their nationally recognized Environmental and Natural Resources practice!
REQUIREMENTS:
- 710 years of experience in Environmental and Natural Resources law
- Experience advising clients on a wide range of environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters including issues arising under CERCLA RCRA the Clean Air Act the Clean Water Act and related California statutes
- Experience handling environmental due diligence investigation and site and sale of known potentially contaminated property
- Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
- Active California Bar admission
- Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Compensation: $310000 $340000
