ABOUT THE ROLE:

The firms Corporate Group is seeking a midlevel associate 34 years of experience) for their Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with companies across various sectors such as technology finance entertainment manufacturing and much more.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 34 years of corporate law experience
• Strong knowledge offederal securities laws rules and regulations
• Experience with corporate transactions including private offerings of equity securities mergers and acquisitions joint ventures and general corporate matters
• Experience representing venture capital growth equity or private equity firms in fund formations
• Experience withongoing investment firm operations matters and compliance with the Investment Company Act the Investment Advisers Act the Securities Act and other regulatory requirements is preferred but not required
• Experience with investment fund formation and relevant experience in thecorporate group or investment group of a toptier law firm
• Experience drafting LLC agreements LP agreements and other related documentation
• Major law firm experience is preferred
• Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
• Active CaliforniaBar admission
• Detailoriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Strong oral written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented fastpaced environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Compensation: $220000 $250000
