Job Description
Kids Club Attendant
The Kids Club Attendant helps in planning and implementing the daily activities for children helps with safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and the Kids Club.
- Treat each child with dignity and respect.
- Recognizes and considers the individual needs of each child.
- Checks medical condition as written in the registration form.
- Helps children learn to think creatively and respect themselves and others.
- Open clean and prepare Kids Club for daily activities.
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the Kids Club
- Assist in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
- Works to prevent injuries and accidents and handles them appropriately if they occur.
- Dress kids as needed and change diapers.
- Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Kids Club area.
- Sanitize toys and play equipment.
- Interact with the children in a positive and ageappropriate manner.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed as needed within the day.
- Follow kids club Operation Childcare Standards Policies procedures and Health guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as requested by the Supervisor.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in childcare or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational setting
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Creativity in designing and implementing engaging activities for children
- Ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Basic first aid knowledge and understanding of safety protocols
- Experience in organizing and leading group activities
- Knowledge of child development and ageappropriate activities
- Patience enthusiasm and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and varying shifts as needed
- Physical stamina to participate in active games and outdoor activities
