Role: Computer Science Teacher
As a Computer Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of computer science. You will support students in developing a wellrounded understanding of programming algorithms and digital systems. Your role will include:
- Planning preparing and delivering engaging and meaningful Computer Science lessons to students of various age groups (KS4 KS5.
- Encouraging students to apply computational thinking and programming skills in various projects.
- Supporting students in their digital development providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
- Contributing to the development of the Computer Science curriculum.
- Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Computer Science.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Computer Science department.
Key Qualities We Are Looking For:
- A strong passion for Computer Science and a desire to support students digital development.
- A recognized teaching qualification in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Computer Science to secondaryaged students is highly desirable.
- A passion for developing young people technologically and academically.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a cuttingedge and collaborative team.
