Job Description

Senior Private Client Solicitor

Location: New Milton or Salisbury (Officebased)

Fulltime Permanent

Working Hours: 09:0017:00 (With a 1hour lunch break)

Salary:(Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)

The firm offers a broad spectrum of legal services to individuals businesses and the military with a strong commitment to personal service and clientfocused advice. With over 25 qualified lawyers on their team they have a reputation for excellence in both client care and legal expertise.

This is a seniorlevel opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor Legal Executive or Probate Practitioner to take on a leadership role within a growing and dynamic team. As a Senior Private Client Solicitor you will have the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive environment with clear pathways for career progression including the potential to step into a Head of Department role.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of highvalue private client matters including Wills Probate Trusts Tax Planning Guardianship Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work.
  • Leading on complex legal matters ensuring a high standard of output and client service across all areas of Private Client work.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients contributing to business development initiatives to grow your caseload and the firms reach.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members providing guidance and helping to shape the future of the department.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the Salisbury and New Milton offices to provide exceptional client service and drive departmental growth.
  • Contributing to the departments strategic development with the opportunity to progress to a Head of Department role for the right candidate including overseeing a team setting direction and playing a key role in future business planning.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in Private Client law demonstrating proven expertise and a successful track record in managing private client matters.
  • STEP qualification is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • A strong billing history and a track record of achieving and surpassing financial targets.
  • Previous experience in supervising or developing teams is beneficial.
