You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Payments Analyst is an important role and is responsible for the and completion of payment processing liquidity management and exception handling processes and tasks.
The Payment Operations team is a core function within Visa Payments Ltd and is responsible for the timely of all processing activities and associated operational tasks to ensure the effective day to day running of Visa payment services. The team is not client facing but does regularly interact with our network of Partners.
What we expect of you day to day.
Responsible for the approving payments including Faster Payments International Payments/SWIFT ACH domestic payments and global real time payment schemes in line with the agreed cut offs.
Responsible for the approval of incoming liquidity within agreed times scales
Assist and support the team with general Investigations and correctly resolve payment exceptions (e.g. rejections returns failures etc.
Responsible for the approval of Bank partner statements investigating and resolving any breaks.
Correspond and liaise with Network Partners through email telephone and the SWIFT network to resolve issues in a timely manner and minimise service/client impact
Develop an indepth understanding of the payments platform and our global network of Payment Partners
Actively seek to improve processes workflows and tooling
Support the identification management and resolution of service affecting incidents
Manage your time as well as the payment specialists effectively to ensure all critical tasks are completed and deadlines achieved
Collaborate with other internal teams including compliance reconciliation customer support and App services to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the Payment Team Lead/Manager to discuss and report on daily challenges work loads and improvement ideas.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced
Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)
Must be a fluent Spanish speaker.
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
Ability to attend calls and send emails with Partners externally in Spanish.
Able to communicate and present information effectively to colleagues and
management
Focused on sharing participating and contributing to the whole teams
efforts
Proficient knowledge of Word Excel PowerPoint and Visio desired
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 87200.00 to 123400.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
