Job Description
Your scope of work will cover 3 areas.
I. Microservices Architecture:
- Drive the design and implementation of microservices architecture.
- Define best practices standards and guidelines for microservices development deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with software development teams to design and build scalable resilient and faulttolerant microservices.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams in adopting best patterns and practices.
II. Technical Leadership:
- Act as a subject matter expert on ecommerce platform architecture and related technologies.
- Lead and participate in architectural reviews code reviews and technical discussions to ensure highquality deliverables.
- Shape a vision for the technical development of the entire domain (an area usually consisting of several to a dozen teams)
- Collaborate with representatives from a dozen domains within the organization to jointly develop the technical development vision.
- Propose and consistently implement the agreed solutions
- Engage actively in both system design and handson tasks including coding and incident management.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends emerging technologies and best practices related to cloud computing microservice architecture and DevOps.
- Provide guidance and support to crossfunctional teams including developers and infrastructure engineers.
III. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including business units Product Owners and Project Managers to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Work closely with global teams fostering a culture of collaboration knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of software engineering and product delivery experience with at least 3 years as a Senior Individual Contributor position (Senior Engineer Staff Engineer Tech Lead Architect or similar).
- Strong background in algorithms and highperformance distributed systems
- Handson experience with multiple tech stacks (NodeJS Java Mobile) with expertise in at least one of them.
- Seasoned experience in multiple architectures from Monoliths to Microservices to Serverless.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure technologies (especially GCP and AWS) and past experiences with cloud migration.
- Experience in the ecommerce domain.
- Very good command of English (spoken and written).
