This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to work with experienced professionals and contribute to realworld projects all while developing valuable skills in Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing developing and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

Support the team in gathering and understanding business requirements for reporting and visualization needs.

Work with senior Power BI developers to transform raw data into meaningful insights through visualizations.

Participate in data analysis and help create data models using Power BI Desktop.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of Power BI reports including visualizations like tables charts maps and KPIs.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate data from various sources (e.g. SQL Excel and cloud platforms).

Conduct basic data cleansing and transformation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports.

Help maintain and optimize existing Power BI reports to improve performance.

Participate in knowledgesharing sessions and team meetings to gain insights into Power BI best practices.

Learn about data governance and best practices for security and sharing of reports in Power BI Service.
Skills & Qualifications:
-
A background in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or a related field (current student or recent graduate).

Strong interest in data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools especially Power BI.

Basic understanding of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques.

Ability to understand and transform business requirements into effective data visualizations.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

A passion for working with data and improving decisionmaking through insights.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
Nice to Have (Bonus):
-
Basic experience with SQL for querying relational databases.
-
Knowledge of Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.

Familiarity with data modeling concepts and creating relationships in Power BI.

Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Tableau Qlik etc. is a plus.

Exposure to data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) is a bonus.
