Job Description
Network Engineer
This is a contract position.
This is an onsite opportunity located in Pataskala OH.
Are you passionate about largescale network deployments and want to make an impact in a rapidly growing environment Join our team and support the scaling of a multicampus production network! You will play an integral role in augmenting the local deployment staff as we expand our data center network infrastructure.
Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in executing datacenter network retrofit and newbuild activities using internal workflows and tools
Ensure data quality and accuracy in logical tooling throughout the deployment process
Support onsite network activations during new rack/suite powerup and provisioning
Collaborate with local partners including install and cabling vendors to ensure smooth project
Escalate blockers and issues to local and partner teams to resolve challenges efficiently
4 years of experience designing deploying and operating largescale networks
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols
Knowledge of physical network infrastructure including fiberoptic cabling
Proven ability to support multiple projects concurrently
Familiarity with Optical Transport Networks (OTN) DWDM or CWDM
Project management experience
