Job Description
As Manufacturing Consultant you will be responsible for driving improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) labor efficiency and quality metrics such as FPY (First Pass Yield) within the clients production department. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance of manufacturing operations and helping clients achieve sustainable improvements in their processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with clients and teams to gather information and analyze production system formulate and test hypotheses thus identify bottlenecks/areas to improve and design tailored solutions to achieve measurable improvement.
- Presenting recommendations and solutions to senior client stakeholders and working with client team members to implement these solutions effectively
- Leading initiatives to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) labor efficiency and improving first pass yield and reducing defects across multiple production lines.
- Supporting the client to establish various production management mechanism to ensure production closeloop management including daily performance dialogue equipment management system etc.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree/Masters degree in engineering field
- 510 years handson experience in production management and/or consulting experience familiar with production management software such as MES and ERP would be plus
- Solid knowledge in systemlevel lean transformation tools and techniques rooted in the Toyota Production System e.g. Kaizen methods TP TQM policy deployment JIT Kanban Hoshin SMED 5S Poka Yoke
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization. And able to work independently under pressure in an overseas environment in a long period of time.
- Excellent organization capabilities including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) capable of seamless communication with U.S. and China teams
- Ability to create work productfocused materials/outputs which may include PowerPoint decks Excel models articles or other written deliverables.
- Proficient in rational decision making based on data facts and logical reasoning.

Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must possess a valid L1 visa or legal work authorization to work in USA and able to work fulltime onsite for five days a week
