Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) School Based
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Hours: FMLA; Fulltime position
Our Organization is partnering with an exceptional Illinois School District that is looking to contract a fulltime Occupational Therapist. We do our part by providing our therapists with unmatched career opportunities compensation and personalized service that goes beyond job placement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and create individualized therapy plans.
- Recommend adaptive tools and strategies to foster student independence.
- Stay current with best practices through professional development.
- Contribute expertise in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and caregivers.
- Implement targeted interventions to promote motor development and functional skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments treatment plans and progress reports.
Requirements
- Hold a state certification with an OT endorsement.
- Possess an active Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
- Have at least a Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy ideally with children of varying abilities.
