WHAT YOULL DO
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for the entire software life cyclefrom design development testing and release to ongoing maintenance. You will translate business needs into functional software and build solutions that are scalable maintainable and adaptable. By focusing on technical excellence automation and wellstructured design you will contribute to continuous delivery and highquality software development.
You will work in a nonhierarchical environment that fosters collaboration transparency and trust. With full ownership and accountability you will be focused on creating value driving growth and delivering exceptional customer and business outcomes.
WHO YOULL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Product Information and Enrichment team within the Backend Center of Excellence (CoE) at H&M Group. Our mission is to enhance product information for customers ensuring a seamless shopping experience from browsing to checkout. By developing customercentric solutions you will play a key role in enriching product data and improving the overall ecommerce experience.
You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers UX designers and business stakeholders to create innovative and scalable solutions.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for candidates with:
Skills & Experience:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (B.Tech/B.E/MS/MTech) from a premier engineering college.
- Experience: 35 years of experience in Java backend development and related technologies.
- Backend Development: Strong coding skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Testing & Quality: Experience in writing testable and highquality code using JUnit and Mockito.
- API Design: Proficiency in RESTful API design and best practices.
- Microservices & Architecture: Expertise in Microservices and EventDriven Architecture along with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Retail & Ecommerce: Experience in customerfacing sites ideally in retail and ecommerce.
- Enterprise Experience: Background in working with large enterprises and highvolume solutions.
Personal Attributes:
- Passionate about developing customercentric solutions.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Open to collaboration and working in a fastpaced agile environment.
- Committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
