Job Description
Job Title: Node.js Tech Lead
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Node.js Tech Lead to join their dynamic Tech Department located in
Maadi Technology Park. This role involves leading technical efforts managing development processes
and ensuring delivery of impactful technology solutions through robust Node.js development.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable highperformance Node.js applications.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features including front
end technology integration.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment.
Oversee code quality through code reviews and implement best practices in software development.
Design and implement microservices architecture ensuring efficient and modular application
design.
Utilize design patterns to enhance code maintainability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring reliability and performance of applications.
Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the tech stack remains current.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of the platform.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years in software development including at least 3 years specifically in Node.js.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ES6 Node.js Next.js Python and TypeScript.
Proficiency in asynchronous programming.
Practical knowledge of Generative AI particularly OpenAI models.
Previous experience with chatbots and realtime applications.
Experience with design patterns and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloudmanaged services like AKS or EKS.
Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency in database technologies such as MongoDB PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing or mentoring a development team.
Very good proficiency in English.
