Job Title: Surgical Scrub Tech
Location: Jacksonville Beach FL
Salary: $30 $34/hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Surgical Scrub Techs with experience in spine procedures to join their team fulltime. This facility specializes in Plastic Cosmetic Neuro and General Surgery offering a dynamic and fastpaced clinical environment. The Scrub Tech will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient use of surgical instruments while supporting toptier surgical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical tools
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and monitor for potential contamination
- Understand and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Ensure instruments are properly cared for and maintained after use
- Follow strict protocols for patient safety and infection control
Qualifications (Required):
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited surgical scrub technician course
- Operating room experience including spine surgery
- Strong moral and ethical professional references
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of operating room experience
- Prior experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting
