Job Description
Ph.D. in Hispanic/ Mexican/ Chicanx Literature from an APA accredited doctoral program by the time of appointment Native of near native linguistic ability in both Spanish and English Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching Ability to teach beginning intermediate and advanced Spanish language courses Scholarly achievement or promise Ability to teach effectively in a wide range of courses dealing with Hispanic Literature and Cultures Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Chicanx literature Experience in Hispanic cultures and studies Experience in Spanish for Heritage Speakers Experience with online instruction
