Overview

Crocs is seeking a Sr. Manager Visual Merchandising and Experience (VME) to join our North America Marketing team.

The Sr. Manager VME is accountable for translating global VM strategies and bringing powerful product stories to life in Americas creating positive consumer engagement at Crocs Retail and Wholesale environments. This role demands a deep understanding of the retail landscape and the ability to build VM and related brand experience strategies and tactics throughout the region.

For this newly crafted position we are seeking a strategic creative operational leader who will be dedicated to understanding consumer insights brand cohesion shopping behaviors and customer journeys. This role will support Retail and Wholesale stores in US Canada and Brazil working very closely with various cross functional partners including Global Visual Merchandising regional merchandising regional marketing regional sales etc. Reports to VP Marketing Americas and responsible for managing a team of three people.

What Youll Do

  • Be an authority in consumer insights understand shopping behaviors and journeys instore and build product stories and experiences to drive demand and impact across the marketplace.
  • Work closely with Global VM Director in establishing VM annual strategy & VM Playbooks by channel.
  • Drive regional visual strategy on mapping space allocation seasonal storytelling (including training) franchise management and SKU productivity with merchant teams. You will also be deeply involved in developing and implementing seasonal marketing plans within the physical environments of our stores and partner stores.
  • Establish regional Go to Market (GTM) calendar and process for VME aligned with global VME GTM calendar and drive delivery of various milestones. Align with global team on regional deviations.
  • Ensure brand cohesiveness through strong integration of retail and wholesale channel visual standards while driving alignment with global standards.
  • Quarterly store reviews to ensure high standard of product presentation understand any challenges and determine solves and implement solutions/training tools as needed.
  • Support wholesale key account strategy based on segmentation and develop relevant solutions to win with VME.
  • Adaptglobal store design elements to keep pace with the evolving needs of the business. Support regionspecific design solutions and ideations tailoring them to unique regional requirements maintaining global consistency standards.
  • Provide regional market insights/ intelligence each season by channel. Identify and share best practices in retail and wholesale environments.
  • Establish annual regional training program aligned to global initiatives and in region needs.
  • Supportthe evolution of the Store Design Playbook for distribution among regional teams and external partners.
  • Act as primary crossfunctional partner to regional functions and GMs; represent VM in regional and global teams.
  • Lead the department budget and analyze investments to ensure positive ROI. Develop performance metrics and measurements for programs.
  • Partner with Marketing VP and Directors to support strategy streams where VM is included.
  • Lead & develop a hardworking impactful team. Develop key skills and capabilities within the team and foster career development.

What Youll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10 years ofretail or visual merchandising experience in the footwear/apparel industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe suite (Photoshop In Design Illustrator and Sketch Up).
  • Strong Merchandise presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Authentic passion for the retail industry and knowledge of various service models. You enjoy stayingup to date on competitive visual and activation trends to glean best practices.
  • Ability to work closely with functional and crossfunctional team members and strive toward a unified vision.
