Assistant Executive Housekeeper
This position is responsible for the supervision and management of the Housekeeping department ensuring the highest standards of excellence at all times whilst maintaining professional and wellorganized service.
Business Performance
- Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing efficient operation of the entire Housekeeping Department to maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness of all guest accommodation public areas FFE Uniforms/ Linen HK equipments Inventory Duty rosters stock control HK amenity consumption and other resort facilities.
Operation
- Conduct daily briefings supervise and train heartists in daytoday laundry operations
- Ensure guest laundry dry cleaning and pressing is completed according to department standards and procedures
- Ensure all guest requests are promptly attended to
- Records guests and heartist laundry lists accurately
- Process all departmental paperwork
- Check all laundry machinery to ensure that all filters are cleaned regularly and press covers are in good condition report any machine defects to Engineering
Qualifications :
Knowledge & Experience
- High school college diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 34 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Proficiency in reading writing and speaking English
- Additional language skills and basic understanding of local languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel & Word
- Previous experience working in the 5 Star Resort in Maldives is an added advantage
