We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef with Greek nationality to join our culinary team in Sharm ElSheikh Egypt. As a key member of our kitchen leadership you will work closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional Greek and Mediterranean dishes while managing daily kitchen operations.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning development and implementation of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Train supervise and mentor kitchen staff to maintain efficient and productive workflows
- Manage inventory food costs and kitchen budgets to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and overall dining experience
- Step in for the Executive Chef when necessary demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Contribute creative ideas to improve menu offerings and kitchen processes
Qualifications :
- Greek nationality with a deep understanding of Greek cuisine and culinary traditions
- Culinary degree or equivalent culinary education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a highvolume restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Advanced knowledge of Greek and Mediterranean flavors ingredients and cooking techniques
- Strong kitchen management skills including inventory control and budget management
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding abilities
- Proficiency in menu planning and development
- Uptodate food safety certification
- Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek language is highly advantageous
- Willingness to adapt to local culture and work in a resort environment
