Job Description

SEN Teacher Supportive Secondary School Bournemouth ASAP Start

Location: Bournemouth Contract: FullTime Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS

A dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher is needed to join a supportive secondary school in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an inclusive thriving school known for its commitment to providing highquality education to students with special educational needs.

Your Role as SEN Teacher:
Work closely with students who have a range of learning needs including autism dyslexia and ADHD providing tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
Adapt the curriculum to suit individual learning styles ensuring all students have access to a challenging and rewarding education.
Implement personalized teaching strategies and interventions in collaboration with the SENCO and other support staff.
Monitor and track the progress of SEN students providing regular updates to parents and colleagues.
Foster an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Who Were Looking For:
A qualified SEN Teacher with QTS and a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
Experience in working with SEN students in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
A patient compassionate and dedicated approach to teaching.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
