We are seeking a passionate Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving school in Derby this September 2025. This fulltime permanent position offers the exciting opportunity to teach Computer Science across KS3 KS4 and KS5 inspiring students to explore the world of technology and computing.

The Role:
- Position: Computer Science Teacher
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract: Fulltime Permanent
- Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
- Location: Derby
- Teaching: KS3 KS4 and KS5 Computer Science
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to KS3 KS4 and KS5 preparing students for GCSE and ALevel exams.
- Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons that foster student interest in technology and computing.
- Monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to help them reach their potential.
- Collaborate with other departments to create crosscurricular learning opportunities.
- Support extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or STEM projects to enhance students learning experience.
What Were Looking For:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- QTS or PGCE in teaching.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 KS4 and ideally KS5.
- A passion for Technology and the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
