Labor & Employment Attorney



Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an AM Law 100 firm that represents clients at the forefront of technological advancements ranging from aviation to artificial intelligence and possesses a thorough understanding of their industries and evolving needs. With 21 offices across the United States Asia and Europe and a global network of legal partners we are searching for a mid to seniorlevel attorney with a background in Labor &EmploymentLitigation.


DEPARTMENT INSIGHT:

Our clients topranked Labor & Employment Practice provides strategic counsel and litigation defense to some of the nations most prominent and emerging companies. Recognized by Chambers USA for excellence the team helps employers navigate complex workplace issues including wage and hour compliance labor relations workplace discrimination unfair competition workforce transitions and employment privacy matters. Whether defending highstakes litigation or offering preventive counseling this group is dedicated to protecting employers investments in their workforce while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

The firms Labor & Employment Practice Group is seeking a mid to seniorlevel associate 57 years of experience) for its San Francisco office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of employment litigation and advisory matters including singleplaintiff and class action lawsuits wage and hour disputes and complex employment issues for highprofile clients.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • 57 years of employment law experience preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm
  • Strong litigation experience including court appearances and depositions
  • Expertise in singleplaintiff and class action lawsuits wage and hour matters and client counseling
  • Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
  • Active California Bar admission
  • Drafting motions to compel arbitration discovery requests/responses and oppositions to class certification
  • Handling settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions
  • Preparing employmentrelated documents such as separation agreements offer letters arbitration agreements and PIIAs
  • Conducting labor due diligence for M&A transactions (highly preferred)

  • Compensation: $300000 $430000
