Job Description

Seeking a Night Shift Batching Prepping Manager in Carrollton
The role manages the prep department direct reports on their job performances and abilities to execute tasks in a timely and precise manner. Manager will instruct train and give directives for the team to ensure batch making is in accordance with formulations. He/ She ensures the team construct and operate manufacturing and processing equipment such as blenders pumps tanks accurate product routing and record real time documentation. Manager will manage team schedules and must be in constant communication with the line of leadership and HR for personnel status related matters.
Manages prep department team to conduct the following essential tasks:
  • Oversee and manage the batching preparation process to ensure highquality goods are produced in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all team members are trained and work in compliance with all applicable standard work practices regulatory requirements GMP s HACCP and FSSC expectations.
  • Coordinate with production staff to maintain an efficient workflow and meet daily production goals.
  • Responsible for ingredient inventory management and ordering necessary supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure all products meet company standards.
  • Train and mentor new employees on batching techniques and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and improve production strategies.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Business Management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
