Working Student - Full Stack Developer for GenAI Startup fmd

Our goal is to make AI truly usable for all employees in companies. To achieve this we focus on three complementary areas:

• The meinGPT Platform gives everyone secure access to the most important AI models and combines practical tools like image generation and meeting summaries in one place.
• With the meinGPT Academy we bring people closer to practical AI usage step by step with an interactive and personalized learning platform.
• In our Custom AI Projects we develop AI solutions for more complex use cases for our customers.

The numbers show that this approach works: At our pilot customer LAUDA 76 of employees actively use AI saving over 1400 working hours per month equivalent to annual savings of 1.62 million euros.

Tasks

• Youll develop meinGPT using React in the frontend and TypeScript in the backend while focusing on clean UX and code quality
• Youll create test concepts and tests to maintain the high quality of our system
• Youll implement DevOps principles and create/maintain CI/CD pipelines for our Kubernetes hosting

During your time with us youll primarily work with our CTO Matthias.

Requirements

• You are enrolled at a German university and have a German work permit
• You can work for 20 hours/week and would like to stay with us for at least 6 months

Technical skills

• Youre a React expert and confidently use it for responsive userfriendly interfaces.
• APIs are your playground: You design and implement them competently with TypeScript.
• PostgreSQL and SQL are familiar technologies for you in the database area.
• Youre experienced with CI/CD pipelines and can set them up and maintain them.
• Test automation is part of your daily dev routine.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with tRPC Prisma ORM Python and MUI/Joy UI.
• Knowhow in Kubernetes and container technologies.
