Location: office based in Lisbon Portugal
Role: Dutch / English speaking Technical Support & Operations Specialist
Salary: EUR 2730K basic gross p/a (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hrs per week mainly office hrs but can be rotational TBC (can include late or early shifts to support American and Australian market)

Our client headquartered in Australia is expanding globally and has recently established a new international office in the heart of Lisbon Portugal. As they grow their team they are seeking a Technical Support & Operations Specialist to join their Lisbonbased operation. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an agile collaborative and fastgrowing company in an impactful role that blends customer service technical support and operational tasks..
The Role
As a Technical Support & Operations Specialist you will play a critical part in supporting our sales process managing customer communications and ensuring seamless postsales installation and service. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical or technical background who thrives in a handson environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats within a smaller or startup business.
Key Responsibilities
PreSales Design & Technical Support:
- Create detailed heater layout design plans for customers
- Support the sales team with technical input and product knowledge
- Assist in selecting the right products and configurations based on customer needs
Customer Service & Operations:
- Manage customer orders from entry through to invoicing
- Confirm ETAs and communicate effectively with customers on order status
- Liaise with 3PL providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams in Australia and the US for supply chain finance and productrelated matters
Installation & PostInstallation Support:
- Provide technical support to electricians and homeowners during installation
- Troubleshoot heater issues postinstallation offering clear and practical solutions
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the process
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Strong mechanical or technical background (ideally with heating systems or similar)
- Processdriven mindset with excellent problemsolving skills
- Selfstarter who can work independently and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- Experience in a small business or startup environment is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and customerfocused approach
- Fluent in English (essential); Dutch language skills a plus
