IT Project Manager
This is an open role for our client in the insurance industry supporting strategic initiatives across Legal Compliance Government and Audit domains. Based in Toronto the position follows a hybrid work model with inoffice collaboration at a downtown location. The team fosters a collaborative environment focused on delivering innovative highquality solutions that align with enterprise priorities.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $70 to $74 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $84 to $88 per hour.
17month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of IT projects ensuring ontime onbudget delivery aligned with business goals.
Develop and track project budgets timelines scopes and deliverables.
Oversee and support project teams including hiring coaching and performance feedback.
Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.
Define and implement test plans ensuring defectfree deliverables prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Coordinate UAT and rollout strategies ensuring smooth transition and user readiness.
Deliver costbenefit analyses and progress updates to steering committees or sponsors.
Utilize project management best practices and systems development processes.
Promote Agile methodologies and champion collaborative workflows across teams.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in computer science computer engineering or a related technical field.
10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager delivering enterpriselevel solutions.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMIACP) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
Deep expertise in Agile methodology and frameworks.
Proficiency with JIRA and other Agile project management tools.
Strong understanding of data handling practices privacy compliance and data quality.
Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Proven success in managing complex projects in dynamic fastpaced environments.
Exceptional communication skills verbal and written capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Strong leadership decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.
Experience with GenAIrelated projects is considered an asset.
